I created the West Hartford READS 2019! promotional campaign featuring world-renowned author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I designed posters, banners, bookmarks, flyers, tickets, an event program and dozens of graphics for the web. Since Adichie's books are instantly recognizable because of Joan Wong's amazing designs, we decided to create our promotional materials with a nod to three of our favorite books — except using a million exclamation points! People were very excited such a big author was coming to West Hartford, so we tried to match that enthusiasm. We sold out tickets in less than an hour. I digitally painted all of the exclamation points and type using Adobe sketch.
