One of my favorite tools to use in my design work is my scanner. I know, that sounds insane right? Below are what I call analog collage animations using just paper and my scanner. Each one is hundreds of scans. While I love After Effects, for these I don't use any video editing software it's just a rolling GIF of the scans. Even the changes in color and texture are just messing with the scanner settings as close as I can replicate an old Xerox machine.
